The Yak Gear Accessory Mounting Track offers versatile mounting for all of your paddling and fishing gear. This track has a unique design and features two small gutters on the underside, these allow for epoxy mounting with self-tapping screws when no inside access is available. The slightly concave shape to the back of the track lets you mount to flat surfaces as well as surfaces with slight contours. The Accessory Mounting Track is constructed of a lightweight PVC and poly carbonate composition for strength and UV protection. Accessories can be easily mounted to the track using the Yak Gear Track Nut and Screw Kit (not included). Placement of the track is variable, ranging from the front or back gunwales of the boat, the top or sides of milk crates or the space between the seat back and the deck. Be sure to mount the track out of the natural motion of your paddle stroke, as the accessories that will be connected to the track may interfere with this motion.
