Overview

These snowboards are non branded boards that are returned from our Junior Trade-In Program. They have typically only been used for one year. They come mounted with a junior binding sized appropriately to the size of the board. Before shipping we check each board and bindings to make sure that they are in good usable shape and have no major flaws. Scratches and other cosmetic blemishes may be present due to use. (Photo is a sample of multiple available models. Model and color varies.)

A: We do not provide an option to choose exact length, model or color prior to shipment. All we guarantee is that the Used Boys snowboard will be in good structural condition and will come with bindings, and will be within the length range selected.

Q: Your description states that the boards come with "junior" bindings. Are these different from regular bindings? My daughter has snowboard boots already but she wears a Women's size 7 shoe and her boots are women's boots rather than kid sized. I'd prefer not to have to buy new boots to go with these skis.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Used snowboards we offer with the Junior bindings will accommodate smaller womens boots, although most Junior bindings will only go up to a maximum boot size of 5.0 or 6.0.

Q: Are special boots required, or can regular old snow boots be used?
Asked : Dec 18, 2013
By : Liz, Royersford, PA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: These bindings are designed for snowboard boots and should not be used with regular snow boots. Snowboard boots are designed to be much stiffer that snow boots and have a far different stance that is designed to fit in the bindings.

Q: My son is 4"8' and 115 lbs. he seems to be a natural a cheap board. what is your recommendation for him??
Asked : Dec 15, 2013
By : dee, whiteford md
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: At your son's weight the idea board length would be around 140cm. This would put him near the lower end of the weight range for the board, allowing him to us the board longer. Our used boards are not available in that length. The best option of him would be a board like the Flow Micron or the K2 Vandal.

Q: My 9yrold son is 4'7" 80# with size 7 shoes. I see that he would be in a 125 cm board size but it seems as though the bindings usually only go to a size 6 is this a problem? Also, would we have to take board to a shop to get adjusted?
Asked : Dec 12, 2013
By : james, Vermont
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The bindings that come on our used kids boards will only fit up to a size six boot. They cannot be adjusted to fit anything bigger, as is the size of the frame that determines how big of a boot will fit. Snowboard bindings do not require the same safety adjustments as ski bindings so they do not require to take them to a shop to get adjusted.

Q: My son is 11 years old wants to learn to snowbord. He is 80 lbs 4'5" tall. I have bought him a board once before but it was cheep & really not a snowboard by standards as it was 20-30 dollars. Any feed back as I was looking at the used boards on your site. Thanks Bev

By : Bev, Minnentonka MN
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: If you go with one of the used boards in the 120cm to 129cm length range, you should have a very solid board and binding for your son. We received these as part of a junior trade in program and none of them are plastic or "fake" snowboards. They will all come with bindings and while some may be in a bit rough condition, they are all in great functioning condition and will give your son the opportunity to learn on a real board while not breaking the bank for you.
