Tip Rocker/Camber skis for edge hold; easy turn initiation
The new Rossignol Hero Elite Plus Ti is a perfect ski for the aggressive skier looking for a carving machine on the groomers. Rossignol's new LCT (Line Control Technology) uses a Titanal Power Rail that runs from the tip to the tail of the ski that adds extra horsepower and stability by eliminating counter flexing of the ski. The Poplar Wood Core works with additional Titanal Layers to add a damp and powerful feeling that is loaded with energy for banging out tight turns down the fall line. A small amount of rocker in the tip of the ski is called On-Trail Rocker that initiates turns quickly, while camber on the rest of the ski delivers a high amount of rebound and edge hold. The Prop Tech allows the torsional flex to adapt to changes in the terrain to make this ride highly responsive. If you are a strong skier looking for a race like performance without having to put all of the work you'd have to in a race ski, the Rossignol Hero Elite Plus Ti is a perfect ski for you.

Hi, I'm Thom, I just got done riding the Rossignol Hero Elite Plus Ti and this is just an absolutely nutso, fun frontside ski. For somebody who's looking for a frontside ski for that high level intermediate up through expert level skier that just wants something that's gonna have tenacious edge hold and tons of kick out of the turn, this is what you're looking for. Super versatile in terms of the turn shape, short snappy fall line, slalom turns, just edge to edge as quick as you want em, it does it. Open that radius up and lay out some bigger, lazy GS arcs, no problem here either. No chatter, tons of stability, a lot of power and a good snap to finish the turn on this one. If you're looking for a frontside beast, this is it.Hide

Hi, my name's Adam and I just got done skiing the Rossignol Hero Elite Plus Ti. This ski's back for it's second season unchanged, aside from the graphic. It's just a fantastic, frontside ripper for your advanced to expert level skier. It's not the most demanding ski in the world, but you really gotta be on point to ski it. It has Rossignol's Line Control Technology, which is like a Titanal Reinforcmement that runs through the center of the ski that really gives it a lot of power, strength and edge hold. With this turn shape, it's really quick into a turn, it's really quick out of a turn. I like to think of this as a more funrace ski to ski. You can really lay it down on edge, it's got a really strong edge hold and it's just a lot of energy and a lot of power behind it.Hide

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Rossignol Hero Elite Plus Ti. Awesome ski for that aggressive skiing expert who wants something to just rip and grip on the front side of the mountain. Very tight turning, very edgy. If you want to make as many turns down the fall line as you can - this is a perfect ski for it. The Rossi Line Control Technology adds a lot of snap, adds a lot of power, adds a lot of rebound to the ski - but it's also not ultra demanding, so you don't feel like you have to ski it pedal to the metal. Great ski for that aggressive skiing expert for the piste, or somebody coming off of race skis who wants a very turny, quick ride.Hide
Q: My wife is 5'2rand 160 pounds. She is very good skier(ex competitor) but not that aggressive anymore because of the age. Usually we are going to Colorado in March and use groomed slopes. Is this pair of skis is Okay and what length is good for her?
A: This is going to be a little to rigid for bumps run, although it's an absolute rocket ship of a ski on the open groomers. I'd take a look at the Rossignol Experience 84 AI. It's gonna be softer than the Hero Elite Plus. https://www.skis.com/Rossignol-Experience-84-AI-Skis-with-SPX-12-Konect-GW-Bindings/614597P,default,pd.html
