Riedell Dart Ombre Speed Roller Skates 2018

Let me preface this review by stating that I am an absolute beginner roller skater. While these skates are unique, they are also true to size if you go down one as Riedell suggests for women. I wear a women's 11 and went down to a 10 in the skates.

One thing about these skates is that they are so heavy! The trucks themselves are aluminum so perhaps that makes them on the heavier side. It is bearable and you get used to them in time. Another thing that I don't like too much is that these are not outdoor skates. I had to buy separate outdoor wheels for them.

Other than that, I can tell that these skates are well constructed because they feel very sturdy and provide a pretty good amount of support with both the laces and the ankle strap.

I would not recommend these skates for people with wide feet though, because as someone with very narrow feet, these for me perfectly.

All in all, I think with the price point and the quality of these skates, these are a good skate for beginners.
