Medium - instep circumference approx. 1/3-1/2 length of foot
Standard - you have lower volume, narrow legs or high calves
Stiff - ideal for true intermediate to expert level skiers
The Lange RX 100 is a great option for the strong intermediate to expert skier who has a medium to narrow forefoot and medium to narrow leg shape. A Natural Stance sits more upright to allow you more efficient turns with modern longer, wider and rockered skis. This season the RX shell gets a little bit of an update by having a more accommodating ankle pocket, wider toe box enhance the performance and comfort of the RX 100. The Dual 3D Sport Liner has Thermoformable material that can be heated for a more customized fit. A Dual Core adds more rebound and energy transmission with each turn to live up to the Lange legacy.

I have been skiing these Lange's and I love them. Once worn in (mine took about 15 days of skiing to get worn in), they really have a comfort level. A classic comment on Lange's is that they are for thin feet, but my medium-width feet feel great in these boots. Not sure a wide-footed person would enjoy. The boots are no-non-sense on the features, but that's OK for me - I like my ski boot simple, straightforward, and comfortable.Hide

These replaced my old Lange Comp 100 MF (med. fit) boots. New Lange sporting dual core injected plastic are softer than my old boots. These 2018 Lange are also noticeably larger inside. They are larger in every dimension. I almost regret cooking the liners. I wish I did not do it and just suffered a few times and broke them in naturally. Lange moldable liners are not good. They shrink too much and force you to buckle the boots tighter to compensate. I welcome a taller instep and bigger toe-box , but if I had to give a fit advise I would say downsize at least 1/2 size may be full size. I got the same size 255mm and I feel they are roomy and too long, aslo I am getting a shin-bang. So if you are looking for LAnge and don't have XL feet try their LF offering first if that is too tight go to MF (100mm last) and downsize.Hide
A: The plastic board underneath the liner is called the Zeppa Board or the Boot Board. That is designed to keep the liner sitting flat on the mold of the shell.
