Alpine ski bindings are your most important piece of safety equipment to help reduce the chances of injury on the slopes. The actual boots that are going into the binding are required for both a visual inspection and physical testing. A Certified Technician must complete the Visual Inspection and Physical Tests to ensure that the binding functions correctly.

A Visual Inspection of the actual boot that is going into the binding will verify that the ski boot complies with the international requirements of DIN specifications. It is possible that a brand new ski boot may not comply with DIN specs.

Physical testing consists of using calibrated equipment to measure the amount of force it takes to release the actual boot that is going into the bindings. A Release Test is a series of simulated falls to make sure that you are staying in when you need to be, and releasing from the binding when the adequate amount of pressure is placed on the bindings.

Once we have received your completed Teching Agreement, our technicians will can start getting your equipment dialed in for you, so you are ready to hit the slopes as soon as your packages arrive at your doorstep.
