I can't speak to the function of these boots yet because we're probably a month away from real snow here but I can speak to the sizing. I wear a US Mens size 15 and bought the Rossignol X1 in a EU size 51. The fit out of the box feels good but JUST big enough. I think they'll be fine as is and probably perfect after a few uses. If I was ordering again I'd go with the EU size 52 though. My feet are between 12.25 and 12.5 inches from toe to heel, standing over a tape measure. The boot is a little tight across the ball of my foot, some pressure towards the outside of the foot and I don't normally wear a Wide in shoes or boots.
They seem like a very nice boot for the price and I expect to get several seasons out of them. All in all I've very satisfied with my first purchase here and wit these boots. I can't wait to get out and try them!
