The Rossignol Temptation 80 is a great ski for the solid intermediate skier looking for a lightweight ride that is easy to control. Made with Rossignol's Auto Turn Rocker the Temptation 80 has rockered tip for easy turn initiation and vibration absorption, camber underfoot for edge grip and rebound, and rocker in the tail for easy exits from turns. The Extended Sidecut allows you more control at any speed you want to ski by providing you with more effective edge with the more angle you put on your skis at faster speeds, and less effective edge with the less angle you put on your skis at lower speeds. The Temptation 80's Air Tip Construction uses a honeycomb structure in the tip to remove excess weight from the tip of the ski to make it more maneuverable for you. A Paulownia Wood Core has a very light and lively feeling to it that will provide you with stability at fast speeds, and responsiveness. An 80mm waist is best suited for smooth groomers, but has the ability to run over crud and light bumps. If you are a solid intermediate skier looking for control, easy turning, and stability, the Rossignol Temptation 80 is a great ski for you.

Hi I'm Jess and I just got off of the Rossignol Temptation 80's. I would give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. It's definitely an advanced level ski and it holds an edge like you wouldn't believe. These things are like trains on a train track; once you initiate that turn, it's going to pull you all the way around and you can really get your weight way over and push on that outside ski, and you can almost drag your knuckles in the snow. It's crazy how well these hold and they'll cut through just about anything. They're really heavy, very reliable, great ski for that advanced level skier. Again, I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Brigitte and I just got off the Rossi Temptation 80's. I give this ski a 5 out of 5. I gotta tell you, it's probably one of my favorite skis. I'm an intermediate that's trying to get to advanced so if that's what you're looking for to get to a higher advanced level. The foot on this is really stable. Really fun to ride on and it gives you a challenge. So, I give it 5 out of 5.
Hi I'm Julie, I just got off the Rossignol Temptation 80. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was an excellent ski for an intermediate to advanced level skier. This ski starts to do better at a long radius turn, as well as short radius turns. Some of the other skis in the collection, the 77 and the 75, are much better at short radius turns. This starts to become more versatile and allow you a little bit more stability at higher speeds. It has a little bit of sidewall to it under the foot so it holds an edge really well. All in all a really nice ski for an intermediate to advanced level skier.
Hi I'm Jessica and I just got off the Rossignol Temptation 80. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating, I absolutely loved it. It's great for that intermediate who's looking to advance into the next level rider. The rocker in the tip and the tail, even a strong beginner could try this ski. It was very forgiving, takes you in and out of turns easily, holds a really nice edge at different speeds. It made quick turns, medium turns and it held really nicely for me at faster speeds. Again, 5 out of 5 star for me.
Q: Hi I am looking at these skis and based on reviews maybe best for me? I am an intermediate skier (at best) who is planning on skiing more frequently now and would like to get better. I am 145# and 5'6. Am I right on the ski? If so what length?
