 Overview

The Mastermind brings a fun, light and forgiving twist on all mountain skiing. 4D Fibercap construction keeps the Mastermind super light weight while the Aspen Macroblock core makes it nice and lively for a great park feel that is happy all over the mountain. G-Cut Geometry and a symmetrical flex keep the Mastermind park and switch skiing friendly. They provide a very balanced feel and a tip that guards against accidental tip hook, making it easier to push your new park talents. While the Mastermind is not meant for core park riders or aggressive all mountain skiers it does hold up to a good deal of punishment for price conscious skiers. Where the Mastermind absolutely excels is in the hands of beginner to intermediate skiers with park aspirations, but are still looking to ride the whole mountain. Thanks to the smaller sizes, down to 147cm, the Mastermind works wonders as a transitional ski for kids in need of more performance than the standard junior ski can offer.

  • 4D Fibercap Construction
  • Aspen Macroblock Core
  • G-Cut Geometry
  • Symmetrical Flex
  • Extruded Fatty Base
  • Fatty Edges

Line Mastermind Skis 2012 Video Review
Comments:
Hey this is Thom in here with the Line Mastermind. I'm gonna give this ski 4/5. Really simple ski, definitely more of your intermediate beginning freestyle ski. Actually skis quite well, super soft and the tip and tail cap construction so it's not going to give you the best edge hold in the world but for that teenager transitioning into their first set of adult skis or that guy that a little bit more of a beginner or somebody who just want a really easy to use playful park ski, the Mastermind is it.

I'm Kyle here. I'm with the Line Masterminds. These are pretty cool skis. I did not like them that much just because they would be for a beginner skier and they are not a pure park ski. But if you're a beginner skier and you are beginning to go into the park and stuff like that but you want to ski around the mountain as well then this is the ski for you. I give it about a 3/5.

Comments:
Hi I'm Kevin. I just got off the Line Mastermind. This is a really good ski for [$] bucks. It's pretty hard to beat for entry-level twin at the directional all mountains twin. So the kid that's just getting into the park that wants something to ski the whole mountain, this is going to be a really good ski. I give it 4/5 stars.

This is Evan with the Line Mastermind. I give this ski 4/5. I liked it for what it is. This is Lines price point ski. It was really, really snappy and poppy for being a cap construction. Definitely going to be a ski for someone looking to get into park riding, skied well in the park.

Hi I'm Charlie. I just got off the Line Mastermind. For the price point ski it's a really nice ski. It's a great all mountain twin for somebody just looking to get out there, go and do a little bit of park, a little bit of all mountain. It holds edge really well. It's just a good all around beginner intermediate ski.
