Kayak & SUP Demo Season Begins!

The 2013 Kayak & Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) demo season kicks off in May

East Lansing on Thursday May 2, followed by the Sylvan lake In-Water Boat Show in Keego Harbor on the weekend of May 4-5, and then in Brighton on Thursday May 9.

Road Trip to Madison

Summit Sports Outdoors is off to Canoecopia in Madison, WI this weekend. We’ll be there spreading the word about the Gales Storm Gathering (booth #24 in the lobby) and all about the new opportunities to learn, serve, and have fun with Summit Sports Outdoors.

We’re also co-sponsoring a BCU Breakfast on Sunday morning at 8am at Indie Coffee. We’ll be explaining the exciting new changes in store for the BCU in North America, letting you know about upcoming BCU course offerings in the Great Lakes and answering your questions about all things BCU. Your hosts for the event will be Scott Fairty, BCUNA Interim Board member, Alec Bloyd-Peshkin, Midwest Regional Coaching Officer, Keith Wikle of Go Kayak Now, Andrea Knepper of Chicago Adventure Therapy and Sharon Bloyd-Peshkin of Have Kayaks Will Travel.
